Never before has anyone covered the process of what it takes to do a motor show- there is a ton of behind the scenes planning that as a consumer you never know about. Every touch point, every sight line has been studied and thought about, designed and redesigned- there is a level and a complexity to pulling off a successful motor show that if you do it well as a designer- it will look effortless.
And that is really what exhibit design is all about; becoming a emotional representation of the brand but a representation that is secondary to the product. The impact is immediate and powerful because it is so temporary- and that is why I love designing environments. Activating brands in an epic way.
