Dressing Your Bump

I have been so excited for the moment when I would "pop" and could show off my baby bump. I did not want to compromise on my style; I wanted to feel as much like myself as possible. Being that my work style consists of various tones of black and grey I found myself wearing the pieces that I could still manage to squeeze into. When your body begins to change and evolve I realized that it was important that I felt like "the old me" and wore items that I loved. My work style has evolved as my growing belly demands more room and real-estate. These are a few of my favorite pieces that I use to dress my bump.

Leggings- thankfully still fit and I was able to roll the waist band under the belly for comfort. These beauties are from Abrecrombie and Fitch- and are so comfortable.

My blazers still fit and served as the perfect alternative to a jacket in the office when trying to stay warm.

I practically live in my cropped leather jacket from BCBG- this has been the common fashion piece that I wear all the time all though zipping it up lately has been a challenge.

A few dresses I still managed to wear during my second trimester including one of my favorite black Club Monaco dresses.  When I had an important meeting with a client I managed to grease up my belly and zip up the back of the dress.

Wearing heels and still feeling sexy and confident when I need to I would allow myself to indulge in the occasional high heel- though my choices were made on the chunkiness of the heel and the lowness to the ground; my Frye boots have been great at maintaining my balance.  to feel more polished I love to throw on my funky pearl earrings from our wedding from Peach Box.

I have purchased a few official "maternity pieces" that really show off the belly bump. These pieces are from PinkBlush and ASOS

I love selecting pieces that highlight Little Baby Ingram. I can't wait to share with you my dress for the baby shower!
