MOTOROLA CES 2011

MOTOROLA CES 2011

HELLO SIMPLICITY

OBJECTIVE
Design a space that visually complex and a complete renewal from the previous years; to mark the debut of Motorola Mobility LLC that was true to the developing brand.

CONCEPT
Inspired by Mondrain’s purity and simplicity. Purist of forms the square and rectangle allowed for the generation art galleries to generate various experiences.

INSPIRATION
Piet Mondrian purity. simplicity. raw. pure. form. Mondrian sought to combine flat areas of pure color with geometric forms. By striping away the decorative elements lead to a modern interpretation of everyday life; inspiring Collective Transformation.

VIZUALIZATION
By exploring the linear proximity and relationships of Mondrian’s painting philosophies lead to the structural break up of the floor plan to a linear orientation and allowed for the creation of experience galleries to highlight and feature product.

REALIZATION

Each gallery space allowed for the showcasing of different product and different focus. The Digital Forest Gallery allowed for the attendee to feel M Powered by having the devices symbolically represent the powering of the electronic forest. The Media stealth allowed for the spaces to transform; thus allowing the Motorola brand came to life visually on the LED pixels. The overall space showcased the portfolio of Motorola- including all mobility, home, and companion products with additional highlighting of Motorola’s newest products Atrix and the Xoom.
