MUNDANE MANIPULATION
Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids made its debut in Detroit in 2010; each year it holds an incredible charity dining event that highlighting design talent from the state; raising awareness of the disease; that benefits the Michigan AIDS Correlation.
Leading the conceptual ideation and execution of the CCS Haworth dining space I worked with current students in the Interior Design department working as the Alumni Creative Lead.
CONCEPT
Discrete visibility sought create a unique and thought provoking humanistic story with the use of mundane elements. White plastic cups displayed in clusters visually represented the idea of emptiness and the automatic human connection we so disparately seek through organic movement.
PROPOSED SPACE
The proposed 11' x 11' space will seek to represent the over arching concepts of manipulation, layering and growth. It shall call attention to the human factor and the importance of acceptance, understanding, and respect.
