Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids made its debut in Detroit in 2010; holding an incredible charity dining event that highlighting design talent from the state; raising awareness of the disease; that benefits the Michigan AIDS Correlation.
Leading the conceptual ideation and execution of the CCS dining space I worked with current students and Alumni in the Interior Design department working as the
CONCEPT
Containment sought to stretch the concept of a minimalist restrained enclouser by simulating shelter and placing the dining attendee in a space that should calm but rather visually stimulated the senses.
PROPOSED SPACE
The proposed DIFFA space represented as a visual blend of awareness through simplicity and the penetration of messy un-calming information into that simplicity in an innovative effort to spark conversation, ideas and thus change.
